With his win at the WPT 5 Daimond world poker classic NL Holdem event , David Pham has been adjudged the 2007 Player of the year
David Pham has joined the earlier recipients like Micheal Mizrachi , T J Cloutier , Daniel Negreanu through his excellent performance in poker tournaments throughout the year 2007 . Davids overall earnings of the year are more than $1.8 million and includes 18 in the money finishes, 11 final tables and 4 events won. Final Player of the Year standings was:

1. David Pham - 6,562 points
2. J.C. Tran - 5,748 points
3. Jonathan Little - 5,272 points
4. Scott Clements - 5,138 points
5. William Edler - 4,777 points
